Where the eyes go?

So what does "Where the eyes go mean?"

One of our favorite books is The Art of Racing in the Rain, by Garth Stein.  We highly recommend you read it.  (You probably shouldn't read it to your kids however. There are some adult situations and a couple well placed f-bombs.)

Denny, the valiant hero, is a amateur race car driver and he imparts much of his wisdom to the philosophical narrator, Enzo, who happens to be his dog.  Early on in the book, Denny and Enzo taught us how to successfully navigate a wet race track and we decided that it's a pretty good way to navigate life as well.

"The car goes where the eyes go."

This mantra will always be symbolic in our life but it will also be a very literal guide for us on our upcoming road trip through Mexico and Central America.

Read this book. Especially if you have no interest in dogs or racing.
